The FCC Media Bureau has confirmed that it has a new set of indecency enforcement proposals set for action shortly, according to BROADCASTING AND CABLE. The magazine says that the Commission, which released no indecency actions in 2005, has had a batch of fines and dismissals for TV shows "in the works for several months," and radio actions will follow. The fines and dismissals are intended to be used in a package that would give broadcasters greater guidance about the practical definition of indecency.
