WFYR Passes Out Thousands Of Teddy-Bears

Bear Drive A Success

REGENT BROADCASTING Country WFYR (97.3 RIVER COUNTRY)/PEORIA delivered 1,478 bears to the Children’s Hospital of ILLINOIS on the FRIDAY (02/13), before VALENTINE's DAY.The bears were collected from listeners, local schools, charities, businesses and organizations. This is the 3rd year that RIVER COUNTRY has held a bear-drive.

The staff from WFYR joined employees and volunteers from the Children’s Hospital in handing out the bears. All left-over bears will be used in the days to come at the hospital.
