The FCC has issued a letter to AURORA COMMUNICATIONS and LOTUS COMMUNICATIONS noting that the parties appear to be violating the anti-collusion rule in their participation in FM Auction No. 62. The letter from Wireless Telecommunications Bureau Auctions and Spectrum Access Division Chief MARGARET W. WIENER notes that AURORA VP and 50% owner LYNDEN WILLIAMS is also an SVP at LOTUS, and the two companies have chosen four of the same permits on which to bid. The companies have been found unqualified to bid and did not submit upfront payments to participate in the auction.
