Some Democrats may be promoting the idea that RUSH LIMBAUGH is the leader of the REPUBLICAN PARTY, but a new RASMUSSEN REPORTS poll shows only 11% of Republican voters would agree with that concept.
81% of Republican voters disagree with the statement "RUSH LIMBAUGH is the leader of the Republican Party. He says jump, and they say how high," a quote RASMUSSEN borrowed from BRAD WOODHOUSE of AMERICANS UNITED FOR CHANGE, the liberal group co-sponsoring the TV ads linking LIMBAUGH to the REPUBLICAN PARTY. 44% of Democrats agree with the statement, but only 27% of independents do; overall, 29% agree and 59% disagree.
