WIRELESS GROUP/RADIOCORP Talk WNWS-F/JACKSON, TN afternoon host GEORGE B. SCOTT has exited the station, reports the JACKSON SUN. 

SCOTT, known as "GEORGE B" on the air, issued a press release saying he was fired for comments supporting a bill that would legalize wine sales in TENNESSEE grocery stores; WIRELESS GROUP President CARLTON VEIRS, saying that company policy prohibits discussing personnel matters, nevertheless told the SUN that "It is absolutely untrue that GEORGE is no longer on the air because of his position on the liquor industry's current initiative. Another of our hosts today expressed a view contrary to the liquor lobby position."
