KLOU/St. Louis' Arca Injured In Van Power Line Mishap

Get well wishes go out to CLEAR CHANNEL Oldies midday host PAUL ARCA, who is recovering from injuries suffered when the boom of the remote van in which he was traveling hit an overhead high-voltage power wire.

The mishap occurres near the ST. CHARLES CONVENTION CENTER after a golf show appearance; ARCA told NBC affiliate KSDK-TV/ST. LOUIS that he was blown out of the side of the van from the electrical charge, and noted that he had never received safety training for using the truck but that "it's nobody's fault. It's something that happened and fortunately we both came out of it but no blame." The driver of the truck was unhurt in the incident.
