Mississippi Lawmakers Back Bill For Country Artist Historical Markers

The TENNESSEAN is reporting that MISSISSIPPI lawmakers have sent the governor a bill that would create a trail of historical markers in honor of Country artists hailing from the state, including FAITH HILL, CHARLEY PRIDE and MARTY STUART.
STUART attended a recent news conference to urge support for the legislation. The bill passed the HOUSE last week, and the SENATE passed the bill shortly after the news conference took place.
