MILLENIUM Talk WKXW (NEW JERSEY 101.5)/TRENTON's "Empty Wallet Convoy" campaign continues along the NEW JERSEY TUNRPIKE THURSDAY and FRIDAY, with a convoy led by a hearse (signifying the "death of the middle class") and three station "Big Yellow Vans" collecting wallets to signify anger over Gov. JON CORZINE's proposed tax increases.
The campaign, which started at rest stops along the GARDEN STATE PARKWAY before moving to the TURNPIKE, will culminate in a rally at the STATE HOUSE in TRENTON on TUESDAY at noon ET, when afternoon "JERSEY GUYS" CASEY BARTHOLOMEW and RAY ROSSI take the procession to the state capitol, carrying caskets full of empty wallets up the steps for an economic funeral.
