UK's XFM Sets Manchester Launch Date

GCAP Alternative XFM/MANCHESTER, UK now has a debut date set, with the new outpost of the format scheduled to land at 97.7 FM on MARCH 15. 

The local lineup will include comic and TV host PAUL TONKINSON in mornings, ADAM COLE 10a-1p, GARETH BROOKS 1-4p, MARK KAYE 4-7p, and CLINT BOON 7-10p. Legendary HACIENDA club DJ DAVE HASLAM is set for a FRIDAY noght show, and HASLAM's boss, FACTORY RECORDS and HACIENDA founder TONY WILSON, will host a weekend show for the station. 

The station is the third local version of XFM, following the LONDON original and SCOTLAND.
