Most-Added Battistelli Delivers Lunch For WPOZ ... And Tops Chart

CENTRAL FLORDIA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION Christian AC WPOZ (Z88.3)/ORLANDO morning show hosts ELLIS FEASTER and TYLER McKENZIE delivered lunch and FRANCESCA BATTISTELLI to grand prize winner PATTI SHERMAN last FRIDAY, MARCH 27th. SHERMAN was the winner of the Z88.3 “FREE TO BE ME WITH FRANNIE” contest.

BATTISTELLI joined the morning show on air FRIDAY morning to announce the winner. Following the show, they went to SHERMAN’s workplace to deliver the grand prize package. The prize included lunch from QDOBA MEXICAN GRILL, CDs and tickets to BATTISTELLI’S concert that evening. As a special treat, BATTISTELLI held a private concert during lunch for SHERMAN and her co-workers.

“FRANNY [BATTISTELLI] was amazing. It was a great opportunity to love on one of our listeners and introduce ourselves to new ones at the same time,” said host McKENZIE.

Based on BATTISTELLI’s hit single song “Free To Be Me,” listeners were given a chance to call the morning show and share what made them “free to be me.” Three listeners qualified each weekday and each received a copy of BATTISTELLI’s album “MY PAPER HEART” and were entered in the grand prize drawing.

BATTISTELLI made radio history at the beginning of 2009 as the most-added new artist in the history of Christian radio with “Free To Be Me.”
