Condolences to family and friends of former MILWAUKEE SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING noncommercial Variety WMSE/MILWAUKEE host and local TV and radio historian DICK GOLEMBIEWSKI, who died SUNDAY of a heart attack while shoveling snow in MILWAUKEE. He was 51. GOLEMBIEWSKI hosted "FOLK CITY" at WMSE in 1984-92 under the name DICK NITELINGER; he wrote the book "MILWAUKEE TELEVISION HISTORY: THE ANALOG YEARS," published in 2008, and maintained the MILWAUKEE HORROR HOSTS website.
The MILWAUKEE JOURNAL-SENTINEL's TIM CUPRISIN reports that visitation is scheduled for FRIDAY at ST. ROMAN'S CHURCH in MILWAUKEE, with services at 10:30a CT.
