If love means never having to say you're sorry, syndicated morning duo JOHNJAY & RICK sure as heck aren't in love with MILEY CYRUS, JAMIE FOXX and JAY LENO. It all started with their on-air interview with CYRUS ... and it ends with the morning hosts offering a sincere and heartfelt apology for having help start an entertainment calamity.
During her recent 90-minute radio appearance, MILEY told JOHNJAY & RICH how her favorite band, RADIOHEAD, refused to meet her at the GRAMMY AWARDS and that she would seek revenge. "Stinkin' RADIOHEAD!" she said. "I'm gonna ruin them!"
A spokesperson for RADIOHEAD later responded by noting, "When MILEY grows up, she’ll learn not to have a sense of entitlement." Actor JAMIE FOXX decide to throw his two cents in when he laid a heavy verbal smackdown on MILEY CYRUS during his Sunday radio show.
But before you could ask, "Can't we all get along?" FOXX publicly apologized on JAY LENO’s TONIGHT SHOW, contritely saying that he went "too far." Which inconveniently brings us back to JOHNJAY & RICH, who offered their own apology for having started the whole shebang.
"With an open heart we want to express my sincerest apologies to MILEY CYRUS, RADIOHEAD, JAMIE FOXX and JAY LENO," they said. "Once again our big mouths have gotten us into trouble," host JOHNJAY VAN ES added, while co-host RICH BERRA noting, "And he’s sincere."
