Performing right organization BM honored the songwriters and publishers of last year's most performed songs on Christian radio and television during the annual CHRISTIAN MUSIC AWARDS last night (4/19). The event was held at BMI's MUSIC ROW offices in NASHVILLE.
DONALD LAWRENCE was named 2009 Christian Songwriter of the Year and "Never Would Have Made It," co-written by Pastor MARVIN SAPP and MATTHEW BROWNIE received Song of the Year. UNIVERSAL MUSIC PUBLISHING GROUP received its second consecutive Christian Publisher of the Year award.
