RAB: 2005 Radio Revenues Flat, Q4 Down 3%

The RAB says that 2005 radio revenue was flat year-to-year at $21.455 billion. National revenue dropped 2% to $3.384 billion and network revenue fell 2.6% to $1.053 billion to offset local sales growth of 1% to $15.634 billion. Non-spot dollars slipped 1% to $1.384 billion.
Fourth quarter showed revenue off 3%, with local down 1%, national slipping 9%, non-spot dollars down 3%, and combined local and national off 3%.
December revenues were down 1%, with local off 2%, national flat, non-spot off 2%, and combined local and national down 1%.
