WBOS Announces 'Earthfest'

GREATER MEDIA Alternative WBOS (RADIO 92.9)/BOSTON has announced the 16th Annual "EARTHFEST" will be MAY 30th at HATCH SHELL from noon-5p. The free festival will feature performances by SOUL ASYLUM, THE LEMONHEADS, SEVEN MARY THREE, and SHAWN MULLINS along with family-friendly activities and environmental initiatives

Produced in conjunction with the MASSACHUSETTS DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND RECREATION, the annual event is expected to draw more than 100,000.

"We are thrilled to help raise awareness of the environmental issues we all face and offer ways each individual can help," said WBOS PD KEN WEST. "It’s a great feeling that in these tough economic times, RADIO 92.9 can once again provide a day of free entertainment to all -- a can’t miss event for music fans in NEW ENGLAND."
