QANTUM Top 40 WWXM (MIX 97.7)/MYRTLE BEACH PD RON ROBERTS updayes ALL ACCESS about his radio ststion's ongoing efforts after wildfires hit the area (NET NEWS 4/24). "Over the weekend, MIX 97.7 ran hourly public service reminders asking listeners to donate cash to the AMERICAN RED CROSS OF HORRY COUNTY, and toiletries, clothing, etc., for victims at the MYRTLE BEACH Chamber of Commerce offices. I even got some airtime with mys buddy KANNON on SUPERADIO’s SUNDAY night "Open House Party" to ask for donations from that show’s millions of listeners across the country and around the world."

"TUESDAY, all QANTUM/MYRTLE BEACH stations will be positioned in various parts along the GRAND STRAND to continue collecting monies for THE RED CROSS," contiued ROBERTS. MIX jocks and staffers from QANTUM’s rock station WRZX (ROCK 107) will be manning the WAL MART in nearby SURFSIDE BEACH, while WGTR (GATOR 107.9) and WYNA (104.9 BOB-FM) will be in CONWAY, SC collecting for THE RED CROSS."
