Court Rejects Suit Against Star 105.7/Binghamton In Death At Spears Hoax

The lawsuit against CLEAR CHANNEL's WMRV (STAR 105.7)/BINGHAMTON by the family of a woman who died from a fall at a BRITNEY SPEARS hoax appearance in 2000 has been thrown out in a unanimous vote by the NEW YORK Court of Appeals. The family of SUSAN E. SANTODONATO sued after she died in a fall that occurred as fans rushed a limo they thought contained the singer; a claim against the owner of the property was previously dropped, and a state Supreme Court ruling in 2004 restricted what the plaintiffs would be able to argue regarding fraud or negligence in crowd control.
