CBS Begins Music Station Streaming On Monday

Starting MONDAY (2/6), CBS RADIO will begin to stream music stations with Alternative KROQ/LOS ANGELES (www.kroq.com) leading the pack.
In addition, CBS RADIO will also provide streaming at 13 more music and N/T stations, including Country WUSN/CHICAGO (www.us99.com), SAN FRANCISCO Alternative KITS (www.live105.com), Hot AC KLLC (www.radioalice.com), N/T WPHT-A/PHILADELPHIA (www.thebigtalker1210.com), HOUSTON Smooth Jazz KHJZ (www.khjz.com), and Country KILT (www.kilt.com), WASHINGTON Top 40/Rhythmic WPGC (www.wpgc955.com) and Gospel WPGC-A (www.heaven1580am.com), SEATTLE Top 40 KBKS (www.kiss1061.com), Adult Hits KJAQ (www.965jackfm.com), Country KMPS (www.kmps.com), Classic Rocker KZOK (www.kzok.com) and AC WKQC/Charlotte (www.k1047.com). LIVE 105 is already streaming.
That brings the total number of CBS RADIO streaming stations to 50. An additional 10 custom stations are available exclusively on the web, including Alternative KROCK2.com, Rock WYSP.com, Greatest Hits Of All Time WCBSFM.com, and Greatest Hits of the 60s and 70s WJMK.com.
CBS RADIO VP/Streaming Media MATT TIMOTHY said, "We've made a major commitment to our online presence and have moved quickly these past 10 months integrating audio of a number of stations onto the web. Extending our core assets in a changing media landscape meets the demands of the increasing online listening community, as well as advertisers who continue to seek additional outlets to reach the consumer."
CBS RADIO VP/Programming and KROQ PD KEVIN WEATHERLY noted, "This is the first of several initiatives we will introduce this year taking advantage of existing technologies to further enhance the KROQ brand."
