FCC Fines Auction Winner For Late Form 301 Filing

The FCC has fined FRANK NEELY $3,000 for failure to timely file a post-auction Form 301 for a new FM in DUE WEST, SC he won in FM Auction No. 62.

NEELY filed his application 14 days late with a request for a waiver of the deadline, which the Media Bureau granted. Nevertheless, the late application and delayed request for a waiver gave rise to the fine, which the Commission upheld in the present order.
