Rome, FSR Add Affiliates

The announcement of some new affiliates for PREMIERE's JIM ROME and FOX SPORTS RADIO includes some format and network flips as well, including the flip of MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS Oldies WRIG-A/WAUSAU, WI to Sports using ROME and FOX SPORTS RADIO, effective JULY 6th.
Several stations are taking ROME's show starting today, including the previously announced addition of a simulcast of the show on CITADEL Sports WBBL-F/GRAND RAPIDS along with the existing affiliate, sister Sports WBBL-A. CLEAR CHANNEL Sports WARF-A/AKRON has picked up ROME along with the previously-announced affiliation of the station with FOX SPORTS RADIO, previously heard in part of the AKRON-KENT market on MEDIA-COM Sports daytimer WJMP-A, which has flipped to syndicated Talk.
In addition, PROFESSIONAL BROADCASTING Talk WDJA-A/DELRAY BEACH, FL has picked up FOX SPORTS RADIO for 10p-6a ET weekdays and assorted weekend clearance; BAHAKEL Sports WDEF-A/CHATTANOOGA has picked up FSR and ROME to replace ESPN RADIO, which moved to BREWER BROADCASTING's crosstown WALV-F; and BUTLER BROADCASTING Sports KREB-A (ESPN RADIO 1190 THE FAN)/BENTONVILLE-FAYETTEVILLE, AR has added FSR for 7p-7a CT, with sister KFFK-A/ROGERS-FAYETTEVILLE, AR adding ROME.
