NEW YORK TIMES CO. ad revenues rose 3.4% and total revenues rose 3.2% in JANUARY, but excluding ABOUT.COM (acquired in MARCH 2005), ad revenues dropped 0.3% and total revenues rose 0.7%.
The company's Broadcast Media Group, including its only radio stations, Classical WQXR/NEW YORK and WQEW-A/NEW YORK (the latter LMAd to RADIO DISNEY) as well as its TV stations, saw flat revenues for the month, but excluding UPN affiliate KAUT-TV/OKLAHOMA CITY (acquired last year), ad revenues fell 4%.
