Community Station Launches Testing In B.C.

Testing New Signal

New community station CFSI/SALT SPRING ISLAND, BC began testing its 340-watt signal MONDAY at 107.9 FM with a loop of eclectic music and contact information. 

The station, licensed to GARY BROOKS and RICHARD MOSES' SALT SPRING ISLAND RADIO CORP., is the first station licensed to the island north of VICTORIA off the southeastern coast of VANCOUVER ISLAND and was granted by the CRTC in OCTOBER 2007.
