USA TODAY columnist CHRISTINE BRENNAN is returning as FOX SPORTS RADIO's OLYMPIC insider, providing regular reports and breaking news from the Winter Games in TORINO. Also headed to ITALY for the Games is weekend "FOX MONEYBALL... THE COST OF WINNING" co-host RICK HORROW, who will cover the business side of the OLYMPICS during the Games' second week.
MEanwhile, SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO plans its own coverage of the Games with the "SIRIUS SPORTS OLYMPIC DESK" airing daily 6-7p ET (5-6p SUNDAYS and 7-8p MONDAYS) starting FEBRUARY 10 on channel 123 and running throughout the Games, with MIKE YAM anchoring the show and NBC's TIM RYAN providing recaps from TORINO. And SIRIUS FACTION will carry reports from TORINO from Gold Medalists JONNY MOSELEY and KERRI WALSH (both hosts of their own shows on the channel) and former OLYMPIC skier CARROE SHEINBERG; skier and FACTION host BODE MILLER is, of course, competing in the Games.
