WKSS PD Rick Vaughn To WIOQ As PD; Thea Mitchem Upped To OM Of CC/Philly Cluster

CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WKSS (KISS 95.7)/HARTFORD PD RICK VAUGHN is leaving the station after nearly 4 years to accept the PD post at sister Top 40 WIOQ (Q102)/PHILADELPHIA, effective next week. He replaces TODD SHANNON, who recently joined CRITICAL MASS as VP/Marketing. 

Back at KISS 95.7, a permanent replacement has not been named, but, APD/MD JOJO BROOKS is now acting PD. 

In other CC/PHILLY news, THEA MITCHEM, who has served as the cluster's Dir./Urban Programming for the past three years, has been upped to OM of the entire cluster. 

Commenting on both appointments, PHILADELPHIA TRADING AREA RVP MANUEL RODRIGUEZ said, "THEA demonstrated outstanding leadership as Director of Urban Programming and I know she’s more than ready for this new challenge. RICK comes to us from KISS 95.7 FM in HARTFORD, CT.
