ESPN Radio Auction Nets Over $1 Million For Cancer Research

The fifth annual ESPN RADIO "Don’t Give Up" ESPYs V FOUNDATION Auction raised $1,035,512, a 475% increase over the inaugural auction in 2005, for The V FOUNDATION FOR CANCER RESEARCH. The network and many of its affiliates participated in the auction of sports memorabilia and experiences on WEDNESDAY (7/15). 

Combined with this week's ESPY Celebrity Golf Classic, the activities raised nearly $2 million for the foundation, established in honor of the late college basketball coach and ESPN analyst JIM VALVANO.
