CRS-37 doesn't officially begin until tomorrow (2/15), but things got kicked off in a big way this afternoon. ALBRIGHT & O'MALLEY COUNTRY RADIO SPECIALISTS presented an afternoon of panel discussions and music at the HILTON SUITES HOTEL in Downtown NASHVILLE. The event, sponsored by LYRIC STREET RECORDS, also featured a rousing set by SHeDAISY to a large and responsive crowd.
After the SHeDAISY set, JAYE ALBRIGHT & MICHAEL O'MALLEY revealed the results of the first-ever format study of the 15, 620 Country radio listeners among the 117,737 consumers, sampled in the last year by THE MEDIA AUDIT's 87-markets. Some of the key characteristics of the Country audience, their tastes and choices were revealed to the audience.
Also featured today was a presentation on stationality by MICHAEL McVAY and "AN HD RADIO UPDATE," presented by IBIQUITY's DON KELLY. For last minute info on CRS-37, call (615) 327-4487.
