Cathy Hughes Receives Kappa Alpha Psi Award

RADIO ONE Founder and Chairperson CATHY HUGHES received the KAPPA ALPHA PSI Humanitarian Award along with Pres. BARRACK OBAMA, Senator MARY LANDRIEU and Dr. IAN SMITH at the KAPPA’s annual conference in WASHINGTON D.C. recently.

In accepting the award Ms. HUGHES thanked  the fraternity for the on-going support of her favorite charity, THE PINEY WOODS SCHOOL in PINEY WOODS, MS. CATHY HUGES credited much of her success to the KAPPA men whom she “had been blessed to have in her life.”
