UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORKS (USRN) have inked a mult-year deal with Country broadcasting team LORIANNE CROOK and CHARLIE CHASE -- better known as "CROOK & CHASE" -- to do a daily five-hour radio broadcast for national distribution via USRN.
Beginning on MONDAY, MARCH 27th, 2006 CROOK & CHASE will be available to affiliates coast-to-coast via satellite. The primary feed will occur MONDAY through FRIDAY from 10a-3p (ET) time. The broadcasts will originate in NASHVILLE where CROOK and CHASE are based, and will emanate from the new Music Row offices and studios of JIM OWENS ENTERTAINMENT, who will co-produce the program with USRN.
This is such a logical extension of the Crook & Chase brand
In making the announcement, USRN EVP/Programming ANDY DENEMARK noted, "No one knows NASHVILLE and Country Music better than LORIANNE and CHARLIE, and there's no one more adored by the stars of the format. When we decided to venture into doing a daily show for Country Radio, we needed to look no further."
Speaking on behalf of the broadcast team, JIM OWENS stated, "This is such a logical extension of the CROOK & CHASE brand, and we're thrilled that UNITED STATIONS is partnering with LORIANNE and CHARLIE on this exciting new daily project."
