RADIO REPRESENTATIVES, INC., through Chapter 7 trustee BRAD D, KRASNOFF, is selling silent KGDP-A/OILDALE, CA-BAKERSFIELD to CALVARY CHAPEL OF COSTA MESA, INC. for $120,000 cash plus a time brokerage agreement before closing.
In other deals filed with the FCC, HORNE RADIO, LLC is selling WGAP-A/MARYVILLE, TN to RONALD C. MEREDITH's CLINTON BROADCASTERS, INC. for $62,000 ($40,000 paid for the real estate, $22,000 for the other assets). WGAP is scheduled to flip from Talk to Country and simulcast with new sister WYSH-A/CLINTON, TN.
The price for BUCKLEY BROADCASTING CORP.'s sale of Oldies WFBL-A and Oldies WSEN-A-F/SYRACUSE to JAMES V. JOHNSON's LEATHERSTOCKING MEDIA GROUP, previously undisclosed, has been revealed by the FCC filing for the deal as $2.1 million. The buyer, owner of WMCR-A-F/ONEIDA, NY, will take control of the stations in an LMA SEPTEMBER 1st.
VIC MICHAEL's CEDAR COVE BROADCASTING, INC. is swapping the construction permit for a new noncommercial FM at RELIANCE, WY to WESTERN INSPIRATIONAL BROADCASTERS, INC. in exchange for a new noncommercial FM at FORT WASHAKIE, WY.
In FM translator deals, ROBERT M. BERRY is selling K232AN, K296BP, and K280BI/EPHRATA, WA to EDGAR EATON for a total of $6,000; and HEARTLAND MINISTRIES, INC. is selling W260BA/HUNTINGDON, IN to GRACE BROADCASTING SERVICES, INC. for $12,500.
