Arbitron Buys Integrated Radio Systems For $4.5 Million

ARBITRON has acquired the assets of INTEGRATED RADIO SYSTEMS, L.L.C., a provider of sales and inventory software management, for $4.5 million in cash. INTEGRATED RADIO SYSTEMS President & Owner JOHN POCHE will join ARBITRON as VP/Sales Management Software.
ARBITRON U.S. MEDIA SERVICES President OWEN CHARLEBOIS said, "The INTEGRATED RADIO SYSTEMS software solutions are an ideal addition to the current portfolio of software services that ARBITRON offers our radio station clients. By combining the talent and resources of both organizations, ARBITRON will be better able to develop new software solutions, based on a common platform, that will give to our station customers powerful tools to manage their advertising sales and their commercial inventory."
