CMT To Air 'Get Schooled' TV Special & PSAs

Airing On CMT

CMT will join all of VIACOM's TV networks, including VH1 and MTV NETWORKS, to simultaneously air "Get Schooled: You Have The Right," on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th at 8p (ET). The 30-minute special features appearances by PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, KELLY CLARKSON and NBA star LeBRON JAMES.

The show will highlight education challenges and breakthroughs experienced by speech writer SARAH HURWITZ, music director JASON HALBERT and marketing executive LATESHA WILLIAMS, who work for OBAMA, CLARKSON and JAMES, respectively.

CMT will also present three "Get Schooled" PSAs targeted to the Country music audience, featuring TRACE ADKINS, JASON MICHAEL CARROLL, SHERYL CROW, RASCAL FLATTS, JULIANNE HOUGH, JUSTIN MOORE and DARIUS RUCKER. 

The PSAs will be available online at www.CMTOneCountry.com and www.CMT.com, and they will also air on CMT and CMT PURE beginning FRIDAY (9/4).
