Rumor became reality as the television simulcast of CITADEL MEDIA's "IMUS IN THE MORNING" moves to FOX BUSINESS NETWORK beginning OCTOBER 5th. The show was until recently carried by RFD-TV.
FOX BUSINESS NETWORK EVP KEVIN MAGEE said, “We’re excited to welcome a renowned broadcaster like DON IMUS to the FOX BUSINESS team. His 40 years of on-air experience combined with his superb interviewing skills and capitalist sensibilities will be a great addition to our lineup.”
Imus added, “I love FOX. ROGER AILES is the preeminent genius of American broadcasting. Who wouldn't want to do this?"
The network is moving the 6-9a ET hours of its current business news format to online-only status. Anchors JENNA LEE, CONNELL MCSHAN, and ASHLEY WEBSTER will also appear frequently on IMUS' show. The present "MONEY FOR BREAKFAST" 7-9a show is being cancelled.
