Clear Channel/Louisville Launches 'Gen X Radio'

'Gen X Radio a completely new concept'

Today at 5p ET, CLEAR CHANNEL Modern AC WLUE (100.5 LOUIE FM)/LOUISVILLE, KY flipped formats launching "GEN X RADIO" playing music from the '80s and '90s." The new format will cross cultures and format barriers with hits from grunge, hip-hop, hair bands, boy band genres and more. The artists heard on GEN X RADIO will include DAVE MATTHEWS, MADONNA, PEARL JAM, U2, EMINEM and others.

According to CLEAR CHANNEL Market Pres. BILL GENTRY, "GEN X RADIO is not a typical radio station. It’s focused on a musical experience. Our entire product team is extremely excited, and focused on making GEN X RADIO the best choice for LOUISVILLE."
