WNCW Cuts Three Jobs

ISOTHERMAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE Noncomm AAA WNCW/SPINDALE, NC has laid off two full-time employees and one part-timer in budget cuts, reports the ASHEVILLE CITIZEN-TIMES. The station lost state funding of about $200,000 this year after legislators eliminated the funds this SUMMER.

The two full-timers took different positions with the school, while the job of Business Manager was reclassified with different responsibilities and the manager exited rather than take the revamped job.
