Calling it "the hardest thing I have ever done," Sir TERRY WOGAN said MONDAY that he will exit his post as morning man at AC BBC RADIO 2 at the end of the year, to be replaced by afternoon host CHRIS EVANS.
WOGAN, the longtime morning fixture on RADIO 2, announced his pending departure on the air MONDAY (9/7); he will be moving to a weekend slot early in 2010. EVANS' afternoon slot is expected to be filled by Talk BBC RADIO 5 LIVE host SIMON MAYO.
