Longtime MYRTLE BEACH radio personality BILLY SMITH died MONDAY (9/7) after a long illness in MYRTLE BEACH at 67.
SMITH worked at several stations in the market, including WVCO (94.9 THE SURF), WNMB-A, and WWXM (MIX 97.7), and was a past winner of the CAROLINA BEACH MUSIC AWARD for best FM radio DJ.
