Chio Takes Mornings At Wired 96.5

Former CLEAR CHANNEL WIOQ (Q102)/PHILADEPHIA morning man CHIO IN THE MORNING has inked a five year deal at crosstown BEASLEY Top 40/Rhythmic WRDW (WIRED 96.5) beginning in mid-MARCH. CHIO has been in the market for nearly nine years, six in mornings at Q102, 2-1/2 years at night, and the rest in afternoons at the station.

CHIO's journey to WRDW was a bit circuitous as he'd originally left Q102 on DECEMBER 16th to join XHTZ (JAMMIN' Z90)/SAN DIEGO for wakeups, but returned to PHILADELPHIA for personal reasons. He's bringing in JUSTIN SCHEMAN as Exec. Producer. No word on the assignment of current WIRED 96.5 morning duo SAM & RYAN.
