Longtime former CLEAR CHANNEL talk radio executive GABE HOBBS is launching his own company, GABE HOBBS MEDIA.  HOBBS, a 35-year radio veteran instrumental in the launch of talents like GLENN BECK, LIONEL and BRIAN JAMES, has formed the talent management and media innovations company with charter clients including CBS RADIO, CBS Talk KFWB-A/LOS ANGELES, the syndicated DAVE RAMSEY show, DIAL GLOBAL's TODD SCHNITT show, the TAMPA BAY RAYS, and creative services company ROAD KILL CREATIVE.  

The company will be based in TAMPA and will offer corporate consulting, coaching, content and clock evaluation, content development and distribution, SWAT analysis and mentoring.

On HOBBS, BECK said, "GABE is a programming genius. There are very few people who understand what audiences like. He can really help hosts deliver it on a consistent basis without compromising their unique talents."

HOBBS started in music radio and added News-Talk-Sports stations to his responsibilities at JACOR in 1989. He served as the head of CLEAR CHANNEL's News-Talk-Sports stations from 1998 through 2008 and also served as in-house consultant for PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS, at which he worked with BECK, HANNITY, RUSH LIMBAUGH, DONALD TRUMP, BOB COSTAS and DR. LAURA SCHLESSINGER and helped launch FOX SPORTS RADIO.
