BONNEVILLE Sports WXOS (101 ESPN)/ST. LOUIS is adding a show with ST. LOUIS RAMS coach STEVE SPAGNUOLO and two shows hosted by players to the weekday 7-8p CT "RAMS RUSH HOUR SHOWS" slot. SPAGNUOLO's show is set for MONDAYS and will be co-hosted by RAMS play0by-play voice STEVE SAVARD. Kicker JOSH BROWN will host "KICKING IT WITH JOSH BROWN" on WEDNESDAYS and linebacker CHRIS DRAFT will host "THE CHRIS DEAFT SHOW" on FRIDAYS; both will be co-hosted by BRIAN STULL. All of the shows start next week.
BROWN said, "This is going to be a good show. It’s going to have a strong insider view with myself and others around the league sharing our thoughts on what we deal with each week. I think local football fans will really enjoy it."
DRAFT added, "With me you know what you’re going to get. I’m going to be candid about football and talk about what’s happening in our community plus I’m going to give people a chance to understand what’s inside the player’s head going into the upcoming game. It should be a lot of fun doing the show on 101 ESPN and I look forward to having a chance to interact each week with RAMS fans throughout MISSOURI and ILLINOIS."
PD JASON BARRETT said, "As the new voice of the ST. LOUIS RAMS, 101 ESPN is committed to bringing football fans in-depth programming before the upcoming season as well as throughout the 2009-2010 regular schedule, and hopefully into the playoffs. These exclusive shows will be unique, in that they will feature Rams players as our regular, weekly co-hosts… These new programs will be very audience interactive - we will be inviting listeners into the on-air discussions, and we’ll want to hear from Rams football fans regarding opinions, predictions, feedback and analysis with both call-in and texting options."
"Coach SPAGNUOLO's involvement on-air is a significant element to 101 ESPN’s overall ST. LOUIS RAMS football programming, and we’re excited to have him host his own show with STEVE SAVARD," added BARRETT. "During SPAGS' short time here in ST. LOUIS he’s already shown himself to be very personable and willing to discuss important issues about his football team, and we’re thrilled that Rams fans will have a chance to hear from him each week and get a better understanding of what’s taking place with the RAMS as they try to turn things around."
