Country songwriter JERRY CHESNUT will be honored as the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME & MUSEUM's next "Poet & Prophet."
The latest installment of the "Poets & Prophets: Legendary Country Songwriters" series will be held SEPTEMBER 26th at 1:30p (CT) at the MUSEUM's FORD THEATER. MUSEUM Editor MICHAEL GRAY will conduct an in-depth interview with JERRY, featuring audiovisual elements like recordings, photos and film clips of his career.
JERRY is best known for composing hits like "A Good Year For The Roses" (GEORGE JONES, ELVIS COSTELLO), "T-R-O-U-B-L-E" (ELVIS PRESLEY, TRAVIS TRITT), "Another Place Another Time" (JERRY LEE LEWIS), "It's Four In The Morning" (FARON YOUNG, TOM JONES), "They Don't Make 'Em Like My Daddy" (LORETTA LYNN) and "Holding On To Nothin'" (PORTER WAGONER & DOLLY PARTON).
