In an article by the INDIANAPOLIS STAR's DAVID LINDQUIST reviewing locally-based hosts' interest in satellite radio, PREMIERE "BOB AND TOM SHOW" co-host TOM GRISWOLD says that the team would be interested in a satellite deal but that it can't alienate the show's present terrestrial affiliates. "We're in more than 150 cities, and each one pays us individually," notes GRISWOLD, suggesting that a nightly "highlight show" would be a possibility but not anything that would overlap with the morning show in any time zone.
LINDQUIST also asks WIBC-A/INDIANAPOLIS' "DATE NIGHT" host ED WENCK about satellite, and he tells the paper that "personally, I'm a media hooker... I don't care where I am. As long as I'm drawing a paycheck to do my stupid shtick, I'm a happy man."
