Country Legends Honored In New 'Nashville Music Garden'

BARBARA MANDRELL, LYNN ANDERSON, RALPH EMERY, STEVE HOLY, JEFFREY STEELE, DONNA FARGO, PATTI PAGE and several other artists will be on hand to help dedicate the new NASHVILLE MUSIC GARDEN on SEPTEMBER 29th. The garden is the "world's first public garden to honor entertainment icons with a display of namesake flowers."
The dedication ceremony will take place at 10:30a (CT) at the corner of 4th Ave. and Demonbreun St. in the HALL OF FAME PARK (across from the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME & MUSEUM) in MUSIC CITY. Among the names of new plants being dedicated in the garden include BARBARA MANDRELL, GRAND OLE OPRY, MINNIE PEARL, PRETTY WOMAN, PURPLE HAZE, ELVIS, RING OF FIRE, ALABAMA, DOLLY PARTON, REBA McENTIRE, HANK WILLIAMS and more.
The ceremony is free and open to the public. The first 500 attendees will receive long-stemmed RIO ROSES and biscuits from the LOVELESS CAFE. For more info, visit www.nashvillemusicgarden.com.
