Hamand Named CC/Tampa OM, Kane WFLZ Interim PD

Following the announcement that JEFF KAPUGI is headed to the CLEAR CHANNEL RVPP/D.C.-BALTIMORE post (NET NEWS 2/14), ALL ACCESS has confirmed that CLEAR CHANNEL/FLORIDA RVPP BRAD HARDIN has announced that BIRMINGHAM-based CLEAR CHANNEL RVPP DOUG HAMAND has been named OM at CLEAR CHANNEL/TAMPA.

As part of his new duties, HAMAND will be overseeing Urban WBTP (95.7 THE BEAT), Top 40 WFLZ, Country WFUS (US 103.5), Hot AC WMTX (MIX 100.7). In addition he will become the PD post at WMTX. He arrives in mid-MARCH.

Meanwhile, WFLZ APD/afternooner KANE has been named Interim PD, while a permanent replacement is sought for the post which KAPUGI also handled.
