Thirty-three year programming veteran BOB McKAY, most recently PD at BEASLEY Country WXTU/PHILADELPHIA, has just announced the launch of BOB McKAY MEDIA, Inc. The COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME programmer "will offer expert consultation on any and all aspects of electronic measurement; how to prepare for PPM, the programming nuance, and how to achieve the maximum impact per listening occasion."
McKAY says about the launch: “While the past 10 years have been a remarkable learning experience being at the forefront of PPM, one thing has endured; Great radio. Relevant radio. Wins…! I CAN help…”
“…The past several months have been a labor of love, gearing up for the launch. I feel confident that I can be an asset to any organization on a variety of levels…”The new company will also advise and assist non PPM markets in every facet of programming.
In addition to WXTU, McKAY spent many years at BEASLEY's WKIS/MIAMI, and has also programmed in major markets like SAN DIEGO and MILWAUKEE.
In addition, McKAY tells ALL ACCESS that he has hired his old APD/MD from WXTU, ROY LAND, as his assistant and technical advisor.
