For A Good Cause

BONNEVILLE Classic Rock/Triple A hybrid KSWD (100.3 THE SOUND)/LOS ANGELES is honoring two firefighters TODAY who died combating the recent Station Fire in the LOS ANGELES area.

Fire Captain TED HALL and Firefighter Specialist ARNIE QUINONES were killed while battling the largest brushfire in Southern California's modern history. Captain HALL is survived by his wife and two boys, while Specialist QUINONES leaves behind his wife, who is expecting their first child in the next few weeks.

During FIREFIGHTER FRIDAY, 100.3 THE SOUND is welcoming listener requests and donations. Tell them what song you want to hear and how much you can help. The station assures that every penny collected will be given to the LA COUNTY Firefighters Local 1014 and delivered directly to their families.
