Original 106/Aberdeen Sold Again

NEW WAVE MEDIA, a group headed by former RADIO FORTH/EDINBURGH Managing Director ADAM FINDLAY is buying AC ORIGINAL 106/ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND from the present management team headed by IAIN MCKENNA for an undisclosed price.  FINDLAY, who owns WAVE 102/DUNDEE, will own 40% of ORIGINAL 106, with CENTRAL FM Chairman JOHN QUINN holding 40% and local oil company executive MURRAY STRACHAN owning 20%. 

MCKENNA, whose group bought the station from CANWEST last year, will stay on for a transition period.
