Terri Avery Wins MIW 'Achievement In Programming' Award

The MENTORING & INSPIRING WOMEN IN RADIO Group has announced that CBS/CHARLOTTE OM TERRI AVERY, who also programs WBAV and WPEG, has been named as the recipient of the first Annual MIW Radio Group "Achievement In Programming" Award. The award will be presented to AVERY on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th at 10:30a during the PD Supersession at the 2009 NAB FALL RADIO SHOW in PHILADELPHIA.

"We had some amazing candidates who were recommended for this inaugural honor," said MIW'S CORINNE BALDASSANO. "However, TERRI’s commitment, exceptional track record and passion for the industry made her the perfect choice to receive the MIW Radio Group 'Achievement in Programming' Award."
