HOMELAND ENTERTAINMENT GROUP/NASHVILLE has announced the launch of a new Christian Country label, MONTEAGLE RECORDS. MICHAEL DOUCHETTE has joined as A&R Director. In the last 40 years, HOMELAND has had success with Southern Gospel groups like The RAMBOS, OAK RIDGE BOYS, BILL GAITHER TRIO, STAMPS QUARTET and more.

MICHAEL is the son of WILLIAM DOUCHETTE (a.k.a. "SHERIFF" TEX DAVIS), who co-wrote the 1950s hit, "Be-Bop-A-Lula" and helped ignite the careers of DOLLY PARTON, JEANNIE SEALY, KRIS KRISTOFFERSON and more. MICHAEL has toured with artists like GEORGE JONES and TAMMY WYNETTE.
