Emerson Drive Doubles Up On Charity Events

BRAD MATES of Country group EMERSON DRIVE is heading to his hometown of GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALBERTA, CANADA for two special charity events this week. The EMERSON DRIVE & FRIENDS CHARITY CONCERT is scheduled for tomorrow (9/15) at the GRANDE PRAIRIE REGIONAL COLLEGE THEATRE. All of the money raised will benefit the GRANDE PRAIRIE REGIONAL COLLEGE.
The next day (9/16), the 3rd Annual BRAD MATES/E-DRIVE CELEBRITY GOLF TOURNAMENT will be held at the GRANDE PRAIRIE GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB. Golfers will play 18 holes of a 5-member TEXAS SCRAMBLE game beginning at 11a (MT).
A banquet will be held following the tournament at the TEE CENTRE at EVERGREEN PARK. All of the money raised from that WEDNESDAY's events will benefit the BRAD MATES DRIVE FOR RESEARCH ENDOWMENT FUND for PARKINSON's DISEASE at the UNIVERSITY OF ALBERTA.
The band's goal is to raise more than $500,000 for the PARKINSON's DISEASE RESEARCH PROGRAM at the UNIVERSITY OF ALBERTA HOSPITAL. So far, over the last two years the band has raised over $165,000. Fans can help donate to the cause by clicking here.
