The WASHINGTON CAPITALS have inked a three-year deal with BONNEVILLE INTERNATIONAL to continue to broadcast the NHL team's games on News WFED-A-F (FEDERAL NEWS RADIO). The deal includes news, features, and promotional elements airing on both WFED and sister News WTOP.
WFED will also carry a weekly "SATURDAY NIGHT CAPS" talk show at 6p ET. STEVE KOLBE and KEN SABOURIN will return to call the action.
"We are pleased to continue our relationship with WFED and WTOP," said CAPS Pres. DICK PATRICK. "The 1500 AM signal is extremely strong and allows our game broadcasts to reach as many fans as possible. WTOP has been a great sister-station partner, and we look forward to working with the entire BONNEVILLE group to bring the excitement of CAPS hockey to listeners."
"We love giving CAPS fans the opportunity to listen to these great radio broadcasts via WFED and our great distribution on 1500 AM and 820 AM," said BONNEVILLE SVP/Market Manager JOEL OXLEY. "The excitement level for this team is high and we can’t wait for another fun season to begin."
